COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Quick & Easy

BOIL

  1. In a large pot bring water to a boil.

  2. Add the pack of tamales, note the time at which the water comes to a boil again. From that point, boil the pack of tamales for 15-20 minutes. 

  3. Remove the pack of tamales from the pot with tongs and place it on a plate, open the bag and serve.

MICROWAVE

  1. From thawed state cut a hole in the bag.

  2. Place the pack of tamales for a 2-4 minutes.

STEAM

  1. Remove the tamales from the bag.

  2. In a pot steamer place the tamales standing up and close to each other.

  3. Cover with a wet cloth and lid. Steam for 13-15 minutes, if thawed, or 20-25 if frozen.
